Curbless showers and moved drains need careful floor work, so we finalize plumbing plans during design to avoid delays later.

Where the budget goes

Every dollar, accounted for.

A typical split for a Primary Bath. Your Bayside estimate is itemized the same way, so you can see what each choice costs before we start.

Built for the desert

Materials that hold up to the desert.

Some of the hardest water in the country and dry desert air change which finishes last. These are the ones we recommend most.

Large-format porcelain
$15–35 / sq ft

Fewer grout lines to collect hard-water spots, and it holds up to heat and daily cleaning.

Natural stone
$40–90 / sq ft

Marble and travertine bring a spa feel. Sealed regularly to protect against mineral stains.

Handmade zellige
$30–55 / sq ft

Glazed tile with natural variation, ideal for a feature wall or shower niche.

Semi-custom vanity
$1,200–3,500

Quality construction and finishes in standard sizes, with room for a double sink.

Custom floating vanity
$3,000–8,000

Built to your exact space with integrated storage and under-cabinet lighting.

Quartz vanity top
$55–95 / sq ft

Non-porous and easy to wipe clean, so toothpaste and hard water don’t stain.

Frameless glass enclosure
$1,500–3,500

Clean, open look. We add a protective coating so hard water wipes off easily.

Curbless pan & linear drain
$1,200–3,000

A step-free shower that feels open and is easier to use at every age.

Thermostatic shower system
$800–2,500

Holds the exact temperature you set, with rain head and handheld options.

He gutted my bathroom, moved plumbing, repositioned the vanity and toilet, added recess lights, and did the tile work from floor to ceiling. The tile work was done perfectly. I would give him 10 stars if I could.
Mia LevyBathroom Remodel
It was an old and not very modern bathroom, and I wanted to change it completely. Sam and his team did a wonderful job, they used modern design materials and did an excellent job putting it all together.
LauraBathroom Remodel
Thank you Bayside for my new bathroom! They performed a great job gutting out our old guest tub and turning it into a walk-in shower!
Aarón MizrachiBathroom Remodel
They handled everything from getting the permits to passing inspections, and all the coordination in between. The communication was always clear and consistent, which gave us a great sense of comfort.

  • An Arizona bathroom remodel typically runs $12,000 to $20,000 for a guest or secondary bath, $20,000 to $35,000 for a primary bath, and $35,000 to $50,000 or more for a luxury primary suite. Moving plumbing, curbless showers, and premium tile are the biggest cost drivers. Bayside gives you a fixed, itemized estimate before any demolition begins.

  • Construction typically takes 2 to 3 weeks for a guest bath, 4 to 5 weeks for a primary bath, and 5 to 6 weeks for a luxury suite with layout changes. Including design, permits, and custom orders, plan on roughly 2 to 5 months from your first meeting to a finished bathroom.

  • Yes, if the work involves plumbing, electrical, ventilation, or structural changes, most Arizona cities, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Mesa, require a permit. Cosmetic updates like paint, mirrors, and hardware usually do not. Bayside pulls and manages every permit and inspection as part of your project.

  • Yes, tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most requested projects. We remove the tub, rework the drain and valve, waterproof the new shower, and finish it with tile and frameless glass. Most conversions fit within a guest bath or primary bath budget.

  • In most homes, yes. A curbless shower needs the floor recessed or sloped so water flows to a linear drain, which we plan during design. On slab foundations, common across Arizona, this may require cutting the slab, which we confirm before construction starts.

  • Arizona has some of the hardest water in the country. We recommend large-format tile with fewer grout lines, quartz vanity tops, matte or brushed fixture finishes that hide spots, and a protective coating on shower glass. A whole-home water softener also helps protect new fixtures.

  • Yes. Most homeowners stay home and use another bathroom during construction. We seal off the work area to contain dust and keep a clean, organized job site each day.

  • Yes. Bayside Home Builders is licensed in Arizona (ROC #353387), bonded, and insured. You can verify our license directly on the AZ ROC website.

  • Yes. Bayside offers $0-down home improvement financing, so you can start your bathroom without a large upfront outlay. We can walk you through options alongside your free, itemized estimate.
