What We Do

Five ways we transform Arizona homes.

Pick a service to see what’s involved. Every project gets the same team, the same process, and a fixed, itemized price before work begins.

  • Whole-home renovation by Bayside in Arizona

A whole-home renovation lets you rethink layout, finishes, and aging systems in one coordinated plan. We design every room together, set the full budget up front, and build in a sequence that keeps your household running as long as possible.

  • Kitchen remodel by Bayside in Arizona

Arizona kitchens work hard, so our kitchen remodels start with how you cook, host, and store. Expect custom or semi-custom cabinetry, quartz or quartzite tops that resist hard-water spotting, and lighting that makes the space feel finished.

  • Bathroom remodel by Bayside in Arizona

Our bathroom remodels range from quick guest-bath refreshes to curbless, spa-style primary suites. Large-format tile, coated glass, and smart ventilation keep the new room looking new long after move-in.

  • Custom home addition by Bayside in Arizona

When you need space rather than a new address, we design home additions and ADUs and guest houses that match your roofline, stucco, and windows. Engineering, city review, and HOA approval are all handled by our team.

How We Work

How a Bayside project comes together.

Three phases, one team, and a price that’s set before construction starts.

  1. Bayside designer consulting with an Arizona homeowner01
    Step One

    Discovery

We start in your home, learning how you live, what isn’t working, and what you want to spend. You leave the first meeting with a clear sense of what’s possible and what it will take.

  2. Modern white kitchen designed by Bayside02
    Step Two

    Design

Our designers turn that conversation into 3D concepts and curated material selections, then refine them with you until every choice feels right and every line item is priced.

  3. Bayside crew building an Arizona home remodel03
    Step Three

    Build

With plans approved and permits in hand, our crew builds to the design you signed off on, with regular updates so you always know what’s happening and what’s next.

Meet the founder behind Bayside.

Owner and founder Ben Shoval grew up on his father’s jobsites and has spent more than 20 years in construction, the last eight-plus in Arizona after trading Hawaii’s surf for the desert. Along the way he watched too many contractors cut corners and stop answering the phone.

Bayside is his answer: straight talk, clear pricing, and work he’d be proud to live with himself.

  • Start by confirming the contractor holds an active Arizona ROC license, then check recent reviews, ask for a written, itemized contract, and make sure one team is accountable for design and construction. Bayside is licensed under ROC #353387, bonded, insured, and rated 5.0 on Google.

  • Search the contractor’s name or license number on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website. You’ll see license status, classification, bond information, and any complaints. You can view Bayside’s license here.

  • It depends on the room and scope. As a guide, bathrooms typically run $12,000 to $50,000 or more, kitchens $15,000 to $75,000 or more, and additions about $150 to $300 per square foot. Bayside provides a fixed, itemized estimate before any demolition begins.

  • Interior projects can be built year-round. Exterior work, additions, and new construction are easiest to schedule outside peak summer heat and monsoon season. Many homeowners design in winter and spring so construction starts as soon as permits are approved.

  • Usually only for exterior changes such as additions, windows, roofing, paint colors, or patio structures. Interior remodels rarely need HOA approval. Bayside prepares and submits HOA packages alongside city permits so neither holds up your project.

  • Review times vary by city and scope. Simple interior permits can be approved in days to a few weeks, while additions and structural work often take several weeks or longer. We submit complete, permit-ready drawings to keep review moving.

  • Kitchens and primary bathrooms consistently rank highest with buyers, followed by outdoor living spaces and energy-efficiency upgrades like low-E windows and better insulation. In older homes, updated electrical and plumbing also protect long-term value.

  • Choose materials built for the desert: porcelain and quartz that resist heat and staining, coated shower glass and matte fixtures that hide mineral spots, and insulation and windows that cut solar heat gain. We specify finishes with Arizona conditions in mind.

  • Design-build puts design and construction under one contract and one team. It works especially well for kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home projects because pricing is developed alongside the design, which reduces change orders and keeps one person accountable.

  • Yes. We can design your full vision at once and build it in stages that fit your budget and schedule. Planning everything together avoids redoing work later and keeps finishes consistent across the home.

  • Yes. Bayside offers $0-down home improvement financing, and we can review options alongside your itemized estimate so you know your monthly number before you commit.

  • We work throughout central Arizona, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Glendale, Cave Creek, and Fountain Hills. See our full service area for neighborhoods and city pages.
